SUSTech and University of Macau sign strategic cooperation agreement

On November 7, the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) and the University of Macau (UM) held a signing ceremony for a strategic cooperation agreement between both parties.

The event, which was held at SUSTech, was attended by Qikun XUE, President of SUSTech, and Yonghua SONG, Rector of UM, who signed the cooperation agreement on behalf of the two universities.

It marks the upgrading of the strategic partnership between both sides as they strengthen cooperation and collaboration.

In his remarks, Qikun XUE noted that UM is the most prestigious university in Macao, and hopes that the two universities can promote the exchange of outstanding talents and jointly develop science and education in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) through the signing of this strategic cooperation agreement.

Yonghua SONG said that SUSTech, as a strategic partner university of UM, will promote the development of the two universities in the fields of talent training, academic research, and social services. He added that he looks forward to the strong alliance between both sides to better serve the development of the GBA.
