个人简介

张文勇教授为南方科技大学医学院副院长、教授,博士生导师。他毕业于美国Bowdoin College,获生物化学学士学位。之后获得美国国立卫生院医学科学家培养基金,进入著名的“康奈尔医学院、洛克菲勒大学、斯隆凯特琳癌症中心—三校MD-PhD Program”攻读医学博士和生物学博士双学位,于2004年以优异成绩毕业,获得The Herman L. Jacobius 病理学奖。在攻读生物学博士期间,在何大一医学博士实验室,从事HIV DNA疫苗的研发工作,获得Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation Student Award。医学院毕业后他在康奈尔大学医学院纽约长老会医院病理系接受了病理学的住院医师培训,并获得了纽约州的行医执照。随后他到休斯顿贝勒医学院、MD安德森癌症研究中心、德州儿童医学中心进行了分子病理学的进修。他分别在西奈山医学院任病理系分子病理实验室副主任,及纽约医学院附属医院病理系任分子病理实验室主任。在分子病理学的研究成果发表在《Journal of Clinical Oncology》、《American Journal of Pathology》、《Modern Pathology》、《Blood》等杂志上。他有丰富的教学经验,在西奈山医学院和纽约医学院分别教授医学院学生、病理系住院医师、分子病理进修医生不同层次的病理学课程,并负责指导分子病理进修医生的科研工作。为深圳市孔雀计划B类人才,国家科技库专家、教育部科技管理信息系统专家库专家、广东省科技厅专家、深圳市科创委重大项目评审专家、北京4P健康研究院理事及专家委员会委员等。

张文勇教授证明了利用融合基因方法,使得抗原靶向进入树突状细胞可以增强HIV DNA疫苗的活性。他在AIDS领域的研究让他获得了Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation Student Award,研究发表在Science、Vaccine、JAIDS等杂志上。他研发了针对多个癌症靶向基因的简易、高效、精确的检测方法,包括BRAFV600E, MPLW515L/K, EWSR1/ATF1, EWSR1/CREB1, JAK2V617F等。在分子病理学的研究成果发表在《Journal of Clinical Oncology》、《American Journal of Pathology》、《Modern Pathology》、《Blood》等杂志上。
