Oxford Research Encyclopedias offer in-depth, peer-reviewed summaries on an ever-growing range of topics. The long-form overview articles are written and edited by leading scholars and researchers, addressing both foundational and cutting-edge topics across 25 subject areas. Oxford University Press developed this program in response to a growing need for reliable information to be used at the start of serious research on an unfamiliar topic. The ORE was named one of the “Best Databases” in 2017 by Library Journal.
