General Information

  • 1. Book Scanning

    Digital Media Lab provides readers with paper scanning services, including book scanner, professional graphics workstation.

    2. Recording studio

    The recording studio provides recording and audio editing services for our school’s teaching and research, which is equipped with professional recording equipment.

    3. 3D Printing Services

    The 3D printing space is located in Room 205 of Lynn Library. It is equipped with a total of 5 printers including models of CR-6080, Sermoon V1 Pro, and CR-2008 Pro, which provide 3D services for daily teaching, research, and group projects for SUSTech faculty and students.

  • Monday to Friday 8:30-11:30 13:30-17:30

  • Closed on weekends and legal holidays (If you need technical support on holidays, please contact in advance)

Terms of Use

  • 1. Book Scanning

  • Reservation can be made 3 days in advance. The equipment can be reserved for up to 3 hours each time and up to 4 times each week.

  • If users do not show up more than 15 minutes after the reserved time, the reservation will be canceled automatically. A one-time rule violation is recorded on the main applicant who will be blocked for making any reservation for a week.

  • Cancellation of reservation can be made 10 minutes before the reserved time slot. Please log on to the reservation system, click on “Personal Information” to cancel the reservation.

  • 2. Recording studio

  • Please download and fill in 'the Recording Studio Request Form', and upload it to the reservation system for review.

  • 3. Rules for reserving 3D printing

  • All printing requests need to be proved. Please fill in the 3D printing Request Form and upload the STL file. If the file is too large, please send it separately to wangw@sustech.edu.cn.

  • The request result will be notified by email. If you need to cancel the 3D printing request that has been approved, please email the staff within 2 days of receiving the approval email.

  • After receiving the email for model pickup, please go to Room 205 of Lynn Library to pick up the printed model.
