Dear patrons,
According to requirement of COVID-19 prevention and control of Shenzhen and the university, the opening and arrangement of the library during the control period are as follows:
1. Only the 24-hour study space on the first floor of Yidan Library is open, and the opening hours remain unchanged. Please wear a mask when entering the Yidan Library.
2. Loan period of overdue books and textbooks will be extended, and no overdue fee will be charged during this period. The specific return time will be notified separately.
3. JD Read will not be available for borrowing during this period. The loan period for users who have borrowed JD Read is extended, and no overdue fee will be calculated. The specific return time will be notified separately.
4. We provide book pre-loan service for faculty and students: If you need to borrow books, you can apply for pre-loan. The details are as follows:
4.1 Find the information on the book wanted on the library website. Send the information of the book (title, author and call number) and user’s information (name, Campus Card No. and cell phone number) to: lib_ref@sustech.edu.cn.
4.2 When receiving the required information, the library staff will get the book from the bookshelf at Lynn Library and send an email letter to or call by phone the reader,informing him or her to go to the security officer’s desk on the first floor of Yidan Library service desk where the book can be picked up.
