Dear patrons,
We are pleased to announce that the Yidan Library is to be open for trial operation at 10 a.m. on December 17, 2020 after hard work by many people involved for 5 years. The Yidan Library, another signature building sitting at the SUSTech Center, is a building of four floors with 9,010 square meters. Books classified under ? are housed here, and it has about 1,000 seats. It also features various forms of spaces conducive to learning and other activities for academic purposes.
The launch ceremony of the Yidan Library is scheduled at 2.30 p.m. on the same day. Participants of the ceremony will include representatives of the Yidan Foundation, SUSTech leardership, representatives of the library sector in Shenzhen, and many others from different organizations. All SUSTechers are cordially welcome to attend the ceremony and take a tour of the new library.
Opening hours after the launch day: 8:00 – 22:00 (The 24 hour space on the first floor won’t be available during the night for a while temporarily.)
During the trial operation period, the library will further improve details of its management and facilities. Your comments and suggestions for the improvement are welcome.
