Dr. Tian received his Ph.D. degree from School of Materials, Tsinghua University in 2019. Afterwards, he joined Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School as a postdoctor. In July 2021, he joined School of Microelectronics of Southern University of Science and Technology as Research Assistant Professor and Master Supervisor.

The research area is mainly divided into two aspects: 1. The preparation of nitride powder and high-performance composite thermal interface materials, mainly used to solve the heat dissipation problem of highly integrated electronic components (5G chips, etc.); 2. Preparation of high-performance oxide ceramics by rapid sintering technology, including thermoelectric ceramics, piezoelectric ceramics and multilayer capacitors

Till now, he has published thirty-five SCI papers on top journals, such as Journal of the American Ceramic Society and Ceramics International, among with five patents applied. At present, he is responsible for The National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) Youth Project and The China Postdoctoral Foundation Project. He also participates in the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) Guangdong Provincial Regional Association and Fund Project.
