Dr. Tianhan Zhang obtained his B.S. degree from Peking University and his Ph.D. degree from Princeton University. He joined SUSTech Mechanics and Aerospace Engineering as Assistant Professor in 2022. He is also a researcher at AI for Science Institute, Beijing. His research focuses on flame dynamics, detonation formation, and machine learning-assisted combustion modeling. His works are published in top journals, including Combustion and Flame, Proceedings of Combustion Institute, and AIAA Journal.
