Introduction

Bioinformatics research was my first step in my research experience when I was a master student at China Agricultural University, followed by the cryo-EM electron diffraction research that was my PhD project at Leiden University in the Netherlands. After that, I went back to Tsinghua University as a postdoc scientist and did the helical reconstruction method using cryo-EM. I was the first researcher in China who solved the structure of amyloid fiber in Parkinson’s disease at the near-atomic resolution. Currently I am a Research Assistant Professor at Southern University of Science and Technology.


Research Interests:

Cryo-EM technology was mainly my research interest. Including but not limit to the electron diffraction and single particle analysis, I also have a great focus on the cryo-ET. In short, I want to investigate the mechanism of life through different methods, seeing is believing.
