WANG Fei
Professor
Outstanding young scholar in science and technology innovation
Vice Dean of School of Microelectronics
wangf@sustech.edu.cn

Dr. Wang Fei joined the Danish University of Science and Technology in 2008 for postdoctoral research, and was promoted to assistant professor in 2010. Joined Southern University of Science and Technology in 2013 and currently serves as the Vice Dean and Professor of School of Microelectronics. Selected as a “special support plan” in Guangdong Province, and a class B talent in the “Peacock Project” in Shenzhen, he was funded by the Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Outstanding Youth Fund. He has served as the TPC member of Transducers 2017-2019, ETPC member of Transducers 2021 and also the TPC member of IEEE MEMS 2022, the top-tier international conference on micro sensing technology. In recent years, his research has focused on micro-nano processing and device manufacturing, especially self-energy sensing technology for environmental monitoring, new energy conversion and storage, and micro-nano probe equipment. He has been the PI for more than 15 projects including MOST, Danish FTP projects (equivalent to 863), the NSFC, and the Ministry of Education. He has published 3 monographs in English and has published more than 200 academic papers, including more than 100 papers in SCI journals (including 3 cover articles and 1 ESI high cited paper). He obtained the IEEE MEMS 2020 Conference Invitation Report, which was the first time that mainland scholars made an invited talk at the IEEE MEMS conference held abroad. He has 2 approved international invention patents, 10 Chinese invention patents. In 2018, he won the "Shenzhen Advanced Education Worker" and "Shenzhen Youth Science and Technology Award".
