The Department of Biology of Southern University of Science and Technology was established in 2012. At present, it has initially established an international high-level teaching team. Among them, professors, associate professors and assistant professors have all graduated from world-class universities and obtained doctorate degrees. They have conducted post-doctoral research in overseas universities or research institutions, or have obtained faculty positions in world-class universities. In addition, the Department of Biology of Southern University of Science and Technology also attracted a team of young doctors and post-doctoral engineers to assist in teaching and research. To date, the Department of Biology has more than 350 faculty members.
